Roth fires ace at Kimbeland C.C.

Dennis Roth of Jackson carded a hole-in-one recently at Kimbeland Country Club.

Roth used a 7-iron to ace No. 6, a par 3 playing 150 yards. Tim Sadler, Dennis Bowers and Bobby James witnessed the shot.

Hogans, Holdens tie in best ball

The teams of Nick Hogan-Pate Hogan and Chance Holden-Tyler Holden tied for first with 133 totals at the two-man best ball net competition at Dalhousie on Saturday.

Closest-to-the-pin winners were David Babcock (Nos. 5, 8), Pete Hogan (No. 11) and Terry Bozzay (No. 13).

WGA holds Opening Day Scramble

The team of Judi Brey, Shirley Moore and Priscella Kirby tied for first with Kathy Morris, Lisa Bjelich, Colleen Moore and Flo Johnson at the Women Golf Association's Opening Day Scramble at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

The team of Marlena Jones, Betty Michel and Shirley Talley placed third.
