CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* John P. Hodges, no age given, 3817 Valley View Lane, was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane.

Arrests

* Tamashia R. Gooden, 17, Dovie M. Gooden, 22, and Patarice R. Thatch, 25, all of Hayti, Mo., were arrested on suspicion of stealing clothing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

* DeJesus E. Delvalle, 30, 1511 Bloomfield Road, was arrested on an Alexander County, Ill., warrant for failure to appear for driving under the influence.

* Laura C. Bennett, 29, 2005 Pamela Drive, Jordan S. Pinkerton, 19, of Jackson, and Scottie R. Moyers, 41, 105 Rivercrest Drive, were arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Albert W. Toombs, 34, 1118 Giboney Ave., was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.

* Harold L. Appel III, 30, 1900 N. Kingshighway, Apt. D12, was arrested on a probation and parole warrant for parole violation and on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of tampering with a motor vehicle, resisting arrest and driving while revoked.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting arrest and unlawful use of a weapon.

* Sierra K. Prater, 24, of Thebes, Ill., was arrested on two Jefferson County, Mo., warrants for failure to appear.

Summonses

* David A. McCormick, 51, 1036 N. Fountain St., was issued two summonses for nuisance sanitation.

* Logan W. Bartels, no age given, of Jackson, was issued a summons for failure to yield.

* Christopher L. Hitch, 48, 439 S. Louisiana Ave., was issued a summons for animal leash law required.

Burglary

* Burglary and theft of a TV, iPad mini, computer, several pieces of furniture and a printer were reported at 105 Rivercrest Drive.

Thefts

* Theft of a purse was reported at 535 Louis St.

* Trail of Tears Bar and Grill, 40 S. Sprigg St., reported theft of money.

* Theft of two iPhones and two wallets were reported at 1448 North Kingshighway.

* Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported fuel stolen.

* Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported alcohol stolen.

Property damage

* Damage to a mirror and windshield wiper were reported at 418 S. Benton St.

Miscellaneous

* A 21-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* Violation of the order of protection was reported.

* Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported.

* A 16-year-old boy was reported as a runaway juvenile.

* A 21-year-old man was reported as a missing person.

* A 25-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety released the following item.

Theft

* Theft of a debit card and health-savings card were reported at the Show Me Center.
