Pamela E. Miller, 71, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Mt. Vernon, Ill., died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo. She was born Oct. 28, 1941, in Cape Girardeau to Robert C. and Naomi G. Day Garner. Pamela was co-owner, bookkeeper and secretary of Aero Welding Supply in Mt. Vernon. She enjoyed playing cards with the "Remocwen Ladies", loved to travel, camp, and was an avid NASCAR fan. She was free-spirited and loved spending time with her grandchildren...

Pamela E. Miller, 71, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Mt. Vernon, Ill., died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.

She was born Oct. 28, 1941, in Cape Girardeau to Robert C. and Naomi G. Day Garner.

Pamela was co-owner, bookkeeper and secretary of Aero Welding Supply in Mt. Vernon. She enjoyed playing cards with the "Remocwen Ladies", loved to travel, camp, and was an avid NASCAR fan. She was free-spirited and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert L. "Bob" Miller of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Larry W. (Tracy) Miller of St. Louis and Timothy L. (Leigh) Miller of Houston; two brothers, Gary W. (Peggy) Garner of Cape Girardeau and Bob C. (Ann) Garner of Pevely, Mo.; a sister, Belinda (Jim) Goggin of Cape Girardeau; and six grandchildren, Danielle, Caleigh, Brody, Austin, Josh and Zach.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 9370 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63132.
