BENTON, Mo. -- Two Scott City men were arrested Thursday on drug-related charges, according to a news release from Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter. Ryan C. BENTON, Mo. -- Two Scott City men were arrested Thursday on drug-related charges, according to a news release from Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter.

Ryan C. Cook, 25, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, escape from custody, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Timothy S. Farrow, 52, was charged with distribution of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful usage of drug paraphernalia.

Scott County deputies on Thursday served a search warrant at a Scott City residence. Cook and Farrow were arrested during the search. Cook escaped a patrol car and was found a short time later in a nearby residence and taken back into custody.

Cook's bond is set at $25,000 and Farrow was released by the court on a summons to appear May 7.
