Jackie Ray Joyce, 52, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Southeast Hospital. He was born April 25, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, to Margie and Gerald C. "Bud" Joyce Sr., the middle son of five boys. An avid animal lover since childhood, he was blessed with a generous personality and a wonderful sense of humor. Jackie Ray Joyce, 52, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born April 25, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, to Margie and Gerald C. "Bud" Joyce Sr., the middle son of five boys.
An avid animal lover since childhood, he was blessed with a generous personality and a wonderful sense of humor. He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his mother, Margie Joyce of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Roy Joyce of Cape Girardeau, John Joyce of Advance, Mo., and Donald Joyce of Cape Girardeau; numerous nephews and nieces; and his special feline companion, Baby Mac.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Ronnie Joe Joyce.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Lorimier Cemetery, with the Rev. Bill Joyce officiating.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
