Charlotte Sue Jaco, 68, of Sikeston, Mo., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at her home.

She was born Aug. 20, 1944, in New Madrid, Mo., to Ezra L. and Rosa M. Cummins Jenkins. She and Virgil L. Jaco were married Oct. 7, 1960, in New Madrid.

Charlotte worked at Holiday Inn and Victorian Inn in Cape Girardeau and later worked at Days Inn and Best Western in Sikeston, retiring in 2011.

She was of the Pentecostal belief, and attended the Word of Faith Fellowship Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil L. Jaco of Sikeston; two daughters, Angela S. Gaines and Crystal D. (Scott) Jarvis of Bertrand, Mo.; a son, Buford Lee (Beth) Jaco of Jackson; a brother, Robert S. Jenkins of Oak Ridge; three sisters, Edith M. Jenkins and Shirley Burks of Bloomfield, Mo., and Nancy Spurlock of Scott City; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Henson officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
