The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri, 32 N. Main St. will host a meet-and-greet for two American Place Theatre master teacher actresses from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. today.

Denise Wilbanks and Lisa Strum, both of New York, will speak about their experiences acting and conducting residencies across the nation. The event is free and open to the public. Wilbanks and Strum are conducting the third part of the artist-in-residence program at the Alternative Education Center.
