ORAN, Mo. -- Robert Stanley Woolf, 70, of Oran died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in Cape Girardeau surrounded by family.
He was born May 16, 1942, in Tolu, Ky., to the late Charles Stevens and Nelma Louise Fuller Woolf.
Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was an avid gardener and loved attending his grandson's baseball games. He retired from Nestle Purina Pet Company in Bloomfield, Mo. He also served on the Oran Park Board.
Survivors include three children, Gina Lynn (Charles) Hagerty of Cape Girardeau, Dwight David (Kimberly) Woolf of Foristell, Mo., and Robert Alan (Erin) Woolf of Cape Girardeau; a brother, John Woolf of Calvert City, Ky.; four sisters, Myra Richbourg of Benton, Mo., Charley Campbell of Evansville, Ind., Mary Ruth Jackson of New Madrid, Mo., and Susan Watson of Springfield, Ill.; and four grandchildren, Chase and Jessica Hagerty and Devon and Catie Woolf.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Cleve Barrett Woolf and Dwight David Woolf.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to time of service Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
A celebration of life service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau with full military rites.
