The network's investigative report said the players are reportedly linked to the Biogenesis Clinic in Miami. Outside The Lines reported two sources said that clinic founder Tony Bosch had agreed to cooperate with MLB and testify against players that allegedly received performance-enhancing drugs through his operation.

The report also said Rodriguez is among a smaller group that could be suspended for 100 games because of a previous violation. A first-time violation carries a 50-game suspension.
