Lappe - 50 years

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Thomas and Sharon Lappe of Perryville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and dance May 4, 2013, at West End Tavern and Restaurant in Frohna, Mo. Hosts were their children.

The couple was married May 4, 1963, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo., by the Rev. Francis Seyer.

The Lappes have four children, Tammy (Rick) Ostendorf of Cape Girardeau, Tom (Pam) Lappe Jr. of Oak Ridge, Tina (Mike) Schaefer of Gordonville, and Tim (Michelle) Lappe of Shawneetown.

They have 10 grandchildren, Whitney (Trey) Simmons, Cortney and Lindsay Ostendorf, Tyler and Amanda Lappe, Kolton and Kameron Schaefer, Kodi, Kyle and Kayle Lappe; and a great-grandchild on the way.
