Andrew David "Andy" Pugh, 17, of Opelika, Ala., passed away Monday, Aug. 12, 2013.

He was born Sept. 12, 1995.

Andy attended Beulah High School where he was a member of BHS marching band, HOSA and Inkslingers. He previously attended OMS where he was involved with the OMS concert band and chosen as an alternate for the OHS marching band.

Andy is survived by his mother, W. Jane F. Mungle (Gary) of Jackson; father, Kevin L. Pugh of Opelika; three brothers, Christopher Layne Pugh of Cape Girardeau, Matthew Alan Pugh (Jamie) of Spangdahlem, Germany and John-Conrad "J-C" F. Pugh of Opelika; and a stepbrother, Gary Charles Mungle of Cape Girardeau.

Also three aunts, Donna D. Barker (Jerry) of Oklahoma City, Kathy "KJ" Kimmet (Russ) and Gail Settle (Jimmy) of Clarksville, Tenn.; a niece, Katelyn M. Pugh of Germany; a nephew, Joshua A. Pugh of Germany; three cousins, Callie Lindsey (Lee), Michael Pugh (Kelly) and Megan Pugh, all of Opelika; and numerous other relatives.

Andy was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Glen Pugh; paternal grandparents, Conrad and Annie Pugh; maternal grandparents, William "Bill" and Joyce Furgerson; and other family members.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home in Opelika and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Tenth Street Church of Christ in Opelika. Interment will be in Garden Hills Cemetery.
