Signal improvements set for Sikeston interchanges

The Missouri Department of Transportation is preparing to retrofit two signals in Sikeston, Mo., with flashing yellow arrows. The signals are at U.S. 60 and U.S. 61. The updated signals will feature flashing yellow arrows for left turning traffic, which will help increase efficiency during off-peak times. The work will begin Aug. 28 and will be completed by Aug. 29. As work is underway, traffic will be minimally affected.

All work is weather permitting. Work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near those areas. For more information about these projects, contact MoDOT's Customer Service Center at 888-275-6636, or visit modot.org/southeast.
