Caitlin Danielle Cannon and Dr. Jacob Michael Hayward were married Oct. 14, 2012, at Hawkin House in Webster Groves, Mo. Nathan Combs performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Christopher and Pamela Cannon of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Michael and Christine Hayward of Maquoketa, Iowa.

Maids of honor were Madison and Mackenzie Cannon of Cape Girardeau, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Caitlyn Hayward of Maquoketa, sister of the groom; Molly Robinson of Rolla, Mo.; and Whitney Broughton of Oxford, Miss.

Justin Hayward of Maquoketa was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Kurt Henderson of Iowa City, Iowa, Seth Knickrehm of North Liberty, Iowa, Adam Deppe of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Isaac Miller of St. Paul, Minn. Ushers were Danny Edwards-Luce and Matt Miller of St. Louis.

The reception and dance was held at Hawkin House.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 13 at Mike Duffy's Pub and Grill in Kirkwood, Mo.

Mrs. Hayward is a 2009 graduate of Central High School, and studied graphic design at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is a free lance graphic designer.

Hayward is a 2005 graduate of Maquoketa High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in biology/pre-optometry from the University of Iowa in 2009, and is a 2012 graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Optometry. He is employed with Easter Optometry in Independence, Kan.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Independence.
