Gary Medley

MORLEY, Mo. -- Gary L. Medley, 56, of Morley passed away Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 5, 1956, in Cape Girardeau, to the late Gilbert Lynn and Barbara Lacy Medley. He and Bobbie McBride were married May 22, 1975.

Gary worked for the city of Chaffee, Mo., many years, before retiring as a school bus driver and custodian for Chaffee High School.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie of the home; a son, Eric D. Medley of Marble Hill, Mo.; two daughters, Leslie Baylor of Cape Girardeau and Melissa Ulmer of Morley; five sisters, Sandy Dodd of Cape Girardeau, Lisa Green of Marble Hill, Vicki Headrick of Springfield, Mo., Shirley Davis and Sharon Davis of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He also was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

There will be no service.
