PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Robert Glennon Moore, 80, of Perryville died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Jan. 5, 1933, in Perry County, son of Lawrence W. and Gladys T. Gremaud Moore. He and Mary Ann Sutterer were married Dec. 28, 1957, in Perryville.

Robert had been a surveyor for Citizens Electric Corp. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, a 4th Degree member of Knights of Columbus, member of American Legion Post 133 and VFW Post 4282.

He was an Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Moore of Perryville; six sons, Patrick Moore of Greeley, Colo., Michael Moore of Hatfield, Pa., John Moore of Bryan, Texas, Thomas Moore of Arnold, Mo., Robert G. Moore II of Minnetonka, Minn., and Andrew Moore of Farmington, Mo.; three daughters, Kathy Stephen of Woodridge, Ill., Loraine Layton of Eureka, Mo., and Mary LeClere of Perryville; 24 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 to 8:50 a.m. Saturday at Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers with Knights of Columbus will be at 6 p.m. today, followed by an American Legion service at 6:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mount Hope Cemetery, with military honors courtesy of American Legion Post 133 and the Delta Team.
