'New Dance Horizons II' coming Oct. 9

The 2013-2014 Touring Series at the River Campus of Southeast Missouri State University will kick off Oct. 9 with "New Dance Horizons II."

"New Dance Horizons II" is a Dance St. Louis production that features four world premieres from Madco, Saint Louis Ballet, Common Thread Contemporary Dance Co. and Leverage Dance Theatre, according to a news release from the university. Dance St. Louis brought the first "New Dance Horizons" performances to the River Campus in October 2012 to mark the beginning of the 2012-2013 Touring Series.

"New Dance Horizons II" is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Bedell Performance Hall. Tickets are $26 and $36, and may be purchased at the River Campus box office at 518 S. Fountain St., by calling 651-2265 or online at rivercampusevents.com.
