JONESBORO, Ill. -- An Anna, Ill., man has been sentenced to five years in prison for a 2012 gas station burglary.

According to a news release issued from Union County State's Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds, Keivyan J. Ellis, 20, was sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after he pleaded guilty to one count of burglary from an incident at a gas station in Dongola, Ill., in November. Ellis was indicted in June 2013 following an investigation by the Union County Sheriff's Department.
