JONESBORO, Ill. -- Two Southern Illinois men were sentenced to prison for manufacturing methamphetamine, Union County State's Attorney Tyler Edmonds announced Friday.

Ty W. Dalton, 41, of Anna, was sentenced to eight years in prison after he pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful participation in methamphetamine production, according to a release from the attorney's office. Dalton was arrested after an investigation into drug activity at his residence in August.

Johnny L. Eubanks, 30, of rural Jonesboro, was sentenced to nine years in prison on the same charge. He was arrested following a separate drug investigation in March.
