Alice Eisenhauer

Bessie Alice Eisenhauer, 94, of Jackson died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born Dec. 31, 1918, in Teresita, Mo., to John Nathan and Bessie M. Provow Bailey. Alice married Marshall O. Eisenhauer on Sept. 2, 1937. He died July 7, 1987.

She graduated from Birch Tree High School. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville and the UMW.

Alice is survived by three sons, Royce (Cathy) Eisenhauer of Clinton, Mo., Marvin (Anita) Eisenhauer of Antioch, Ill., and Robert (Dodie) Eisenhauer of Daisy, Mo.; a daughter, Sandra (Ed) Stein of Fredricksburg, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother Jack; one grandchild; and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson and from 9 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Zion United Methodist Church.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Joel Kidwell officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church.
