Weather causes postponements

All area high school events were postponed for the weekend due to unsafe road conditions.

The Woodland and Oran boys basketball tournament finals will be made up this week, but officials at both schools said the announcement of when the games will be played will come at a later time.

The Farmington girls basketball tournament was also postponed and has yet to be rescheduled.

The Jackson boys basketball team was scheduled to participate in the Saluki Showcase at SIU Carbondale. The Indians will now face Carbondale High School at SIU on Jan. 18.

The Notre Dame boys basketball game at Duchesne has been rescheduled for Jan. 21.
