Sophomores Kylie Bilek and Ahnie Hoff scored 16 and 13 points, respectively, as Perryville held off Central 46-42 to take fifth place in the Kelso Supply Holiday Classic on Thursday at the Show Me Center.

Hoff hit a layup at the buzzer to give Perryville a 33-32 lead after three quarters. Central had led 13-6 after one quarter before needing Morgan Duschell's buzzer-beating layup to tie the score 23-23 at the half.

Meadow Heights used a 14-0 run midway through the third quarter to break a tie and coast to a 49-39 victory over Scott City in the seventh-place game.

Meadow Heights led 12-0 before taking a 17-7 lead into the second quarter and a 21-17 advantage into halftime. Scott City forged a 25-25 tie early in the third period, but the Panthers' Kiana Hotop scored eight of Meadow Heights' next 10 points. It was part of a 14-0 run that gave the Panthers a 39-25 cushion midway through the final quarter.

Junior Emma Cook led Meadow Heights with 20 points, while Hotop added 13.

Lyndsie Robert led Scott City with nine points.
