Marilyn Rose Dippold, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at The Arbors.

She was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Cape Girardeau to Oscar and Edna Hilpert Grebing. She and Richard Dippold Sr. were married April 15, 1951, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death June 5, 2012.

Marilyn was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church and its Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was a member of Lutheran Family and Children's Services Auxiliary. She had been a secretary at Washington Elementary School 25 years, and belonged to Cape Promenaires Square Dance Club.

Survivors include two sons, Richard (Carol) Dippold of Thebes, Ill., and their children, Deanna (Kory) Mueller, Kristen and Melanie, and Timothy Dippold of Albuquerque, N.M., and his fiancee, Sherry May, and children, Timothy Jr. and Erin Nguyen; two daughters, Nancy (Donald) Robertson of Gordonville and their children, Matthew and Mikayla, and Susan (Kevin) Brannock of O'Fallon, Mo., and their children, Dale, Ross and Lance; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Nguyen; and a brother, Ronald (Ann) Grebing of Apex, N.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Edward Grebing.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Mark Martin officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be given to Lutheran Family and Children's Services or St. Andrew Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
