Sauerwein - Gerlach

Megan Elizabeth Sauerwein and Tyler Lee Gerlach were married June 22, 2013, at Hanover Lutheran Church. The Rev. Tony Kobak performed the ceremony. Organist was Rob Gerlach of Round Rock, Texas. Soloist was Cindy Youngren of Peoria, Ill.

The bride is the daughter of Susan Sauerwein of Bunker Hill, Ill., and the late Earl Sauerwein. The groom is the son of Terry and Kim Gerlach of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Mollie Ogden of Ballwin, Mo. Bridesmaids were Kristin MacKeen of Cape Girardeau, Allison Roswell of Bunker Hill, Greta Erwin of Brighton, Ill., and Rene Pellerin of St. Louis.

Jonathan Edwards of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Lance Limbaugh of Jackson, James McGhee of Chaffee, Mo., Andrew DePeder and Travis Gerlach, brother of the groom, both of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Josh Douglas of Jackson, Daniel Gerlach of Austin, Texas, and John Frank of Richmond Heights, Mo.

Flower girls were Olympia and Zoey Sauerwein, daughters of Dave and Kim Sauerwein of New London, N.H., and nieces of the bride. Ringbearer was Alexander Ruppel, son of Craig and Holly Ruppel of Ballwin and nephew of the bride.

A dinner and dance reception was held at Drury Lodge.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 21 at the church activity center.

Mrs. Gerlach is a 2003 graduate of Bunker Hill High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in business administration in 2007 and a master's degree in business administration in 2011, both from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed in the marketing department at Sam's Club in Cape Girardeau.

Gerlach is a 2001 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast in 2007. He is a sales representative with AT&T in Cape Girardeau.

The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
