Diane Pobst, 57, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at her home. She was born Nov. 10, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio, to Leo V. and June Ann Severin Campbell. She first married Arthur Lumley in 1978 in Toledo. He died in October 1993. She then married David Pobst in 1994 in Kentucky. He preceded her in death in May 2004...

Diane Pobst, 57, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at her home.

She was born Nov. 10, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio, to Leo V. and June Ann Severin Campbell. She first married Arthur Lumley in 1978 in Toledo. He died in October 1993. She then married David Pobst in 1994 in Kentucky. He preceded her in death in May 2004.

Diane worked as an occupational therapist at Southeast Hospital more than 20 years, retiring in 2013. She loved donating to charitable organizations, as well as gardening, quilting and knitting. But the real passion of her life was her grandchildren.

Survivors include her father, Leo Campbell of Maumee, Ohio; a son, Adam Lumley of Benton, Mo.; a daughter, Sarah Heuring of Advance, Mo.; three sisters, Deborah Halsey of Bowling Green, Ohio, Colleen Radak of Broadview Heights, Ohio, and Ellen Quinlan of Swanton, Ohio; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and both husbands.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or the Safe House For Women in Cape Girardeau.
