St. Vincent girls season comes to end

Katie Mattingly scored 11 points, but it wasn't enough as the fifth-seeded Indians' season came to an end after a 42-26 loss to fourth-seeded Barat Academy in a quarterfinal of the Class 2 District 4 tournament at New Haven.

With the loss, St. Vincent ended its season with a record of 9-14.

Dana DiPasquale netted a game-high 19 points for Barat Academy (10-11).
