King Obama?
This president is totally out of control. He thinks he's king. He needs to be impeached.
No to Clinton
About the comment recently about Hillary Clinton running for president, I don't agree. She's saying we need another good Democrat in office to run our country. She is wrong. We don't have a decent one in there now. If they both get in, I would definitely change to the Republican party before I would vote for either one of them. Our country is going from bad to worse. And the Republican party can't be any worse than what we've got in there.
George Washington
On the day when we celebrate George Washington's Birthday, we have a good reason to remember why we celebrate him as the father of our country. The people wanted to crown him "King George," an office that they were more familiar with than president. But he chose to submit to the Constitution, and he along with the Congress established a republic under God. Free this country. We now have come full circle. We have a president who wants to be crowned king and trashes the Constitution.
Name calling
I guess all you young people who the president was depending on to buy the insurance, will you still do it after the Mrs. Obama called all the young people "knuckleheads"? I think I'd head the other direction if I were you.
Flag proposal
I just saw the picture of the new flag in the Missourian. And I just wonder what it is. I see the moon on it. Does that mean we're into witchcraft? I find the new flag quite bizarre.

Man and woman
Regarding the article in Sunday's newspaper entitled, "Changing view of gay couples: Same-sex marriages gain in legal stature and acceptance," I want to say this: The God who created us will never change His mind concerning marriage. The Bible is very clear. Marriage is between one man and one woman.
Blame Republicans
This is in response to the "Divided country" comment in Sunday's paper. The answer to that for what or who caused the division of America, it's simple: The Republicans in the U.S. Congress.
Bond says ...
Sounds good to me. One-time U.S. Sen. Kit Bond (R-Mo.) seems to be saying we Missourians should get on board for Medicaid expansion allowed by the Affordable Care Act because the law is so bad.
Food school rules
For one, they are public schools and should be run by the local public, not the federal government in Washington D.C. Also, how can any First Lady, including the current one, set new rules without using legislation from Congress? Is this not beyond the scope of any First Lady?
Slow down
If you don't want a speeding ticket, you best stay out of Trail of Tears State Park. They're giving them out right and left. Be careful.
