Chaffee senior Layton Tenkhoff collected four hits, including a triple, to help the host Red Devils defeat Kelly 6-4 on Monday and remain unbeaten on the season.

Tenkhoff also notched his first win of the season on the mound. He allowed three hits over four innings and gave up no earned runs. He struck out seven and walked one.

Chaffee improved to 6-0.

Pitcher Levi Alsup suffered the loss for Kelly. He threw four innings and allowed three earned runs on seven hits. He struck out four and walked two.

Brenton James hit a triple to pace Kelly (0-1).

Matt Ford had two hits in a seven-run third inning to lead the Wildcats in the win at home.

The Wildcats (2-1) had five of their seven hits for the game during the inning, including a two-run triple by Ford.

Austin Bucher pitched five shutout innings for the win. He allowed three hits, walked three and struck out four. Zachary Elfrink allowed one hit over the final two innings and struck out three.

Nate Finney had two of Bell City's three hits as the Cubs (2-2) picked up the conference win on the road.

Austin Hicks earned his second win on the mound. He pitched a complete game and allowed one earned run on five hits. He struck out seven and one walked one.

Garret Reynolds took the loss. He struck out five and walked five over five innings. He also had a double for the Cardinals (2-1).

Grant Dix and Spencer Bachmann each had a double for Perryville (5-1).

Tommy Smith was the losing pitcher. He threw 5 1/3 innings and allowed five earned runs on 12 hits and had four strikeouts and one walk for De Soto (3-2).

Alex Spears scored two goals and had an assist as the Pirates swept the Wildcats at home.

Allison Moldenhauer had one goal and an assist for Perryville (2-2). Emma Nelson also scored one goal, while Brooke Moll and Brooke Hogard each had an assist.

Goalkeeper Miranda Stortz made 11 saves in the shutout.

Notre Dame 9, Sikeston 0

Notre Dame's MacKenzie McDaniel scored two goals and had an assist as the host Bulldogs remained undefeated.

Maddie Urhahn and Karsen Powers had one goal and two assists apiece for Notre Dame (5-0). Halle Lynch and Mia Kinder added one goal and one assist each for the Bulldogs.

Abby Boyer, Jordan Nelson and Calleigh Answorth each scored one goal for Notre Dame, while Annie Siebert dished out two assists in the win.

Goalkeeper Madison Beulow had one save in the shutout.

Sikeston fell to 2-4.

Saxony Lutheran 5, Poplar Bluff 0

Ashlynn Collier scored three goals to lead the Crusaders to a shutout at home.

Maci Daniel had two goals for Saxony Lutheran (3-1). Brianna Mueller, Grace Mirly, Logan Meyr and Courtney Bergmann had one assist each for the Crusaders.

Poplar Bluff fell to 0-6.

SOFTBALL

Leopold 9, Puxico 4

Leopold rallied from a 3-0 deficit with two runs in the third inning and six in the fourth to come away with the win at home.

Emily Seiler and Denai Arnzen both had doubles for the Wildcats (2-0). Arnzen and teammate Brittany Garland, who had three RBIs, both had two hits.

Winning pitcher Lexi Vandeven struck out nine batters in going the distance. She allowed five hits and walked one.

Puxico's Phoenix Richard and Sarah Harp each had a double to pace the Indians (0-3).
