The Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center will be all about fly fishing from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Learn the basics of fly-fishing or pick up a few new technical skills. Covered will be equipment selection and use, reading the water, matching the hatch, fly casting, fishing techniques and essential knots. The event is for those ages 16 and older, and participants must be in possession of a valid fishing permit. Fly-fishing equipment will be available for loan.
