Put the phone down

People who are driving on our public streets and highways need to put away their cellphones and pay attention to what they are doing, which is supposed to be driving. Twice in a 15- minute period I witnessed what could have been accidents caused by drivers using their phones. One incident was a young woman almost running through a red light, cellphone in hand, and the next incident a man holding a phone with one hand and a cigarette in the other, changing lanes and not using any kind of signal.
