Causing problems

I'd like to complain about kids running through neighbors' yards, and they antagonize dogs. And you have to get the cops involved because they're being smart-alecks. It's not fair for us and them going through our yards and destroying our yards and bothering the animals, our dogs. Then we, if anything happens to our dogs, if they bite somebody, then it's our fault. Something needs to be done. They're going to get out of school soon. Kids need to stay off people's property.

Use tax

The use tax didn't pass because people are tired of high taxes. Had the cities and county lowered some taxes it might have had a chance, but I doubt it.

Congratulations

Way to go, Andy Tilmon. I would love to have had a good history teacher before college. And I would love to have had a good geography teacher. I learned to love it way too late. Thank you. Charge ahead.

Misplaced blame

To the person who claims they had to pay a penalty because their taxes arrived two days late and now, of course, they're blaming the Post Office. Wrong! The IRS goes by the postmark date, and that is a well-publicized fact. So please, complain about the IRS -- join the line!

Medicare Advantage

Well, I see the president has reversed his decision about Medicare Advantage being raised, how he's putting it back like it was. By the time he gets finished changing Obamacare, Obamacare is going to be nonexistent. Republicans don't have to worry about it, because he's getting rid of all of it himself by either changing or deleting or whatever. He is the worst president we have ever had.

SEMO performance

We loved "Almost, Maine" presented at the Wendy Kurka Rust Flexible Theatre at the River Campus. It was really charming. Congratulations to Dr. Stilson and everyone in the Department of Theatre and Dance for the quality work they produce with every show, including the small ones like this. These students are incredible.

Obama schedule

It's absolutely horrible that our president will spend two hours at the memorial for the murders of the latest Fort Hood massacre, and on the exact same day will spend eight hours, according to his schedule on his website, glad-handing and taking money for the Democratic Party. The same party that made sure that those policies that would disarm the military stayed in effect.

Eich, Obama

Since OK Cupid and the gay community successfully ousted Brendan Eich for opposing gay marriage during the 2008 election cycle, can we expect OK Cupid and the gay community are next going to have Barack Obama impeached and force him to resign?

Thank you, Wayne

I wanted to say a big thank you to Wayne Wallingford for standing up for Missouri's conservation effort and protecting beautiful natural resources from special interests. Thank you, Wayne.
