The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Derrick R. Duncan, 48, 412 North St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Tiara K. Murray, 23, 1930 Delwin St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

* Christopher J. Hicks-Berry, 27, 816 Themis St., was arrested on a Mississippi County warrant for two counts of distribution/delivery/manufacture/produce a controlled substance with intent, speeding, driving while revoked/suspended and failure to drive on right half of the road.

* Jeffery L. Nelson, 22, 1323 N. West End Blvd., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

* Richard L. Ochs, 72, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.

* Deshone S. Bailey, 33, 247 N. Clark Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and costs for property damage.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of burglary and stealing of a motor vehicle.

* Lee Henry D. Davis, 23, 405 S. Hanover St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

* Renada N. Rose, 33, 1900 Independence St., was issued a summons for assault.

* Kathy L. Meyer, 64, 1930 Delwin St., was issued a summons for shoplifting at J.C. Penney, 3049 William St.

* Monteal T. Pearson, 22, 3208 Themis St., No. 12, was issued a summons for property damage.

* David M. Hart, no age given, of Scott City was issued a summons for striking two legally stopped vehicles.

Thefts

* A purse was reported stolen at 1 S. Kingshighway.

* Missouri license plate tags were reported stolen at 1811 W. Weissinger Lane.

Miscellaneous

* Violation of an order of protection was reported.

* A 41-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* a 52-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.
