Christine Marie Maire and Hunter Austin Long were married May 18, 2013, at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, Ark. The Rev. Philip Roop of Cape Girardeau performed the ceremony. Soloist was Nicole Tyler of Cape Girardeau.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Terry Maire of Jackson. The groom is the son of Ronald and Paula Long of Arley, Ala.

Matron of honor was Erica Bethune of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Courtney Long of Crane Hill, Ala., sister of the groom; Casey Garrison of Homer, Ill., cousin of the bride; Lauren Bramlett of Bedford, Texas, and Angela Hirtzel of Little Rock, Ark.

Alan Michael Cantrell of Jacksonville, Fla., was best man. Groomsmen were Timothy Maire of Newark, N.J., brother of the bride; Chad Barnett of Hoover, Ala., Christopher Driskell of Decatur, Ala., and Jacob Jarrett of Cullman, Ala.

Flower girl was Sophie Hawkins, daughter of John and Tammy Hawkins of Daytona, Fla. Ringbearer was Colby Sinclair Lane, son of Mitchell and Erica Bethune of Jackson.

A dinner and dance reception was held in the conservatory of the 1886 Crescent Hotel and Spa in Eureka Springs.

The parents of the groom hosted the rehearsal dinner May 17 at Forest Hill Restaurant in Eureka Springs.

Mrs. Long is a 2004 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in hospitality management from Southeast Missouri State University in 2009. She is an account management coordinator with United Healthcare in Ridgeland, Miss.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Meek High School in Arley. He received an associate's degree in computer science from Wallace State in 2005. He is systems administrator with Common Cents Solutions in Ridgeland.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is residing in Ridgeland.
