Jimmy Golden drove in four runs as host Chaffee claimed the Scott-Mississippi Conference baseball title with a 13-1 win in five innings over rival Oran on Thursday.

Cody Payne limited the Eagles to five hits, struck out 10 and didn't walk a batter.

Storm Estes finished with three hits, while Payne, Golden, Storm Estes and Cole Hanna each had two hits for Chaffee (20-2).

Chance Tenkhoff allowed 14 hits in four innings and took the loss for Oran.

Oran yielded a fifth-inning run before rain ended the contest played in Chaffee.

Ressel was the hard-luck loser for the Eagles, striking out seven and allowing three hits.

Jacob Priggel had a double for the Eagles, who had three hits.
