Blunt to promote mental health access

U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt will visit Cape Girardeau today as part of his statewide tour advocating for improved behavioral health treatment.

Cape Girardeau will be the third stop among the nine hospitals and behavioral health centers he's scheduled to visit.

Blunt will meet with behavioral health care advocates at 11:45 a.m. at the Community Counseling Center, 402 S. Silver Springs Road. The event is open to the public.
