Dr. Steven J. Joggerst is joining Cape Cardiology Group as an interventional cardiologist. Dr. Steven J. Joggerst is joining Cape Cardiology Group as an interventional cardiologist. Joggerst, with seven other cardiologists, will be a part of Saint Francis Medical Center's new heart valve center.

Joggerst, from St. Louis, earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York and completed his residency in internal medicine and first fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplantation at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He later received fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology at Texas Heart Institute/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Julie Eftink has joined the SoutheastHEALTH Foundation as foundation coordinator. Eftink will be responsible for the general administration of foundation financial operations, according to a news release.

Eftink holds a bachelor's degree in agribusiness and animal science from Southeast Missouri State University. She worked with Montgomery Bank for 10 years, where she most recently served as executive administrative assistant to the board of directors.
