Taxes vote

I will vote 'no' on any taxes. Amendment 7 is to raise money for roads, but which roads? We will get a small amount down here and most will go to St. Louis and Kansas City. As for the tax the city of Cape wants to keep, they need to use the money they get better and not for pet projects.

Ballot issues

I just finished reading Joe Sullivan's article regarding ballot issues in Friday's paper. And I agree with him completely. People better take a long, hard look at all of the amendments and cast an informed ballot.

Roads tax

Before voting on Amendment 7, we need to take into consideration how MoDOT frivolously threw away our tax dollars by putting up useless, every tenth of a mile signs along the interstate. Plus, they strung along those useless cables along the interstate. So, we better think again before we vote on Amendment 7.
