Best bet 8/1/14: Heartland Talent Showcase

Heartland Talent Showcase is hosting a day of family fun and entertainment from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Jackson City Park. Activities include a bouncy house, face painting, games, a photo booth contest and local vendors. Throughout the day showcase contestants and local musicians will perform and raffle prizes will be awarded; the grand prize is two tickets to Busch Stadium on Aug. 17 when the Cardinals take on the San Diego Padres.
