Shirley Kay McRoberts, 59, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014. She was born Dec. 18, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, to Joe Eldon and Zelma Shorty Loenneke of Jackson. She and Clyde McRoberts were married in June 1995, and were married 17 years...

Shirley Kay McRoberts, 59, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014.

She was born Dec. 18, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, to Joe Eldon and Zelma Shorty Loenneke of Jackson. She and Clyde McRoberts were married in June 1995, and were married 17 years.

Shirley worked 22 years at Elder Manufacturing in Bloomfield, Missouri, and Dexter, Missouri. She also worked with Pocahontas Housing Authority 12 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Jaime (Jimmie) Fry of Bloomfield; a son, Bobby (Amy) Hankins of Pocahontas; a stepson, Matthew (Elizabeth) McRoberts of Bloomfield; two stepdaughters, Lisa (Shawn) Grissom of Benton, Missouri, and Denna O'Dell of Spokane, Washington; her mother, Zelma Loenneke of Sedgewickville, Missouri; two sisters, Debra (Charlie) Turnbow of Jackson and Carol (Mike) Haley of Sedgewickville; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband and father.

A private memorial service will be at a later date.

McNabb Funeral Home of Pocahontas is in charge of arrangements.
