All scores were reported to the Southeast Missourian on Friday.

The Bulldogs wrapped up the regular season with a sweep of the Mules at home.

Notre Dame finished the regular season with a record of 12-2 while Poplar Bluff went out with a 2-13 record.

Both teams begin district play this week. The Bulldogs will host the Class 1 District 1 Tournament.

Notre Dame drew the second seed and received a bye during the first round. The Bulldogs will play the winner of Monday's quarterfinal between third-seeded Dexter and sixth-seeded Charleston on Tuesday.

Maddie Kennedy served eight aces to lead the Hornets in the easy road sweep of the Eagles.

Alanis Below nailed seven kills for Advance (11-10-2). Hannah Clark notched seven assists and five digs and Ashtyn Driskill added eight assists for the Hornets.

Oran fell to 3-12 with the loss.

JV -- Advance won 25-16, 25-12

Oak Ridge 25 18 25 Bell City 21 25 18

Madison LeGrand hammered six kills as the Blue Jays prevailed in three sets at home.

Jessica Hahs added four kills and Chelsea Seyer had three kills for Oak Ridge (3-11-3).

Bell City dropped to 3-13-2 with the loss.

Eagle Ridge 25 28 25 Marquand 23 30 22

Jessie Gartman recorded 13 kills as the Eagles were able to eke out the victory in the three-set thriller with the Tigers.

Emily Jackson added seven kills for Eagle Ridge (10-3) and Callie Hefner dished out 15 assists.

SOFTBALL

East Carter County 7 Saxony Lutheran 6

East Carter County's Lauren Copeland belted a double that drove in the game-winning run for the Redbirds in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Crusaders lost on the road.

Ashley Kearbey was the winning pitcher and Brooke Eaves had a double for East Carter County.

Ashley Steck took the loss in the circle for Saxony Lutheran (13-7).

Grace Mirly and Logan Welker each hit a double and went 3 for 4 at the plate to pace the Crusaders. Ashlynn Collier added two hits.
