Danny Davis

Danny Davis, 47, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at Ratliff Care Center.

He was born July 6, 1967, in Cape Girardeau, to Joseph Rhodes and Clara Wulfers Davis.

Danny was a graduate of Parkview State School. He loved music with a beat and St. Louis Cardinals baseball. He never met a stranger. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include his stepmother, Mary Lee Davis of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, George (Lori) Davis of Cape Girardeau, Matt (Rhonda) Davis of Collierville, Tennessee, and Tim (Sherrie) Davis of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Ann (Gordon) Brookman of Cape Girardeau; a stepsister, Cheryl (Dudley) Welter of Benton, Missouri; and seven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. David Hulshof officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Saint Francis BOE Follow-up Clinic.
