The Southeast Missouri State volleyball team remain winless in Ohio Valley Conference play.

The Redhawks lost to UT Martin (8-9, 1-2 OVC) in five sets Tuesday in Martin, Tennessee.

Southeast (4-12, 0-3 OVC) has lost five matches in a row.

The Redhawks won the first set, which was tied eight times and had four lead changes, 25-23.

They held an 18-12 lead in the second set, but the Skyhawks rallied to win 25-23.

Southeast trailed the entire third set and lost 25-21 before winning the fourth set by the largest margin of the night, 25-18, to force the fifth set.

The Redhawks trailed throughout the final set and were able to tie it four times, including on match point at 14-14 with consecutive blocks, but the Skyhawks regained the lead with a kill and won 16-14 on a Southeast attack error.

Junior middle blocker Taylor Masterson led the Redhawks with a career-high 17 kills and six blocks.

Senior outside hitter Andrea Baylin added 13 kills and 13 digs. Senior rightside hitter Kelsey Keeve had 11 kills.

The Redhawks host Tennessee Tech at 6 p.m. Friday night at Houck Field House. Admission to the match also gives fan admission into the Southeast soccer game against UT Martin at 6:30 p.m. at Houck Stadium.
