CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Jesse Neal "Buster" Fuller, 88, of Chaffee died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at his home.

He was born March 7, 1926, in Truman, Arkansas, to John H. and Sarah Ellen Avery Fuller. He married Notra Cline on May 15, 1948. She preceded him in death Jan. 2, 2001. He later married Marceline Penrose on March 12, 2003.

He was a conductor on Burlington Northern Railroad. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chaffee, VFW Post 3127 in Chaffee and AARP Chapter 4041.

He is survived by his wife, Marceline; two sons, Randy (Pam) Fuller of Advance, Missouri, and John (Kim) Fuller of Cape Girardeau; two stepsons, Danny (Yanthi) Penrose and Alan Penrose, both of Chaffee; two stepdaughters, Linda (Danny) Lindy of Chaffee and Vicki (Don) Windham of Dexter, Missouri; a brother, Kenneth Fuller of Granite City, Illinois; two sisters, Doris Wingo of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Grace Kaminski of Pleasanton, California; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter and a brother.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee with full military honors.
