Precious infant Frank Charles Bertrand V earned his angel wings on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
He was born October 13, 2014, in St. Louis to Trae and Rachel (Hessenkemper) Bertrand.
Born with a heart defect, he fought hard and earned the name of "Frank the Fighter." After a two-week battle, God called him home, where his heart could be whole and strong.

Loving survivors include his parents of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Laura, Camille and Stella Bertrand; maternal grandparents, Rick (Gail) Hessenkemper of Jackson; maternal great-grandparents, Pete (Joyce) Paulsell of St. Louis; paternal grandparents, Chuck (Evelyn) Bertrand of Cape Girardeau; and paternal great-grandparents, Frank (Martha) Bertrand of Cape Girardeau.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. A private funeral and burial will take place at a later date at Hobbs Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Melaina's Magical Playland, P.O. Box 211, Cape Girardeau, MO 63702.
