Jeanette Marcia Haman, 79, of Cape Girardeau went to be with her heavenly Father on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014.
She was born June 18, 1935, in Perkins, Missouri, to Thurman Leon Kinder and Marcia Rendleman Kinder.
She and M. William Haman were married Sunday, Dec. 26, 1958, in Cape Girardeau.
Jeanette's work history included the Missouri Utilities Co., Hecht's Clothing Store and Macy's; however, she was most proud of being a full-time mother and housewife after Chris and Tim were born. She was involved in the Centenary Methodist Church choir and also taught Sunday school classes.
Other organizations included Cub Scouts, where she was a den leader.
Survivors include her husband, M. William Haman of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Chris (Jill) Haman of Fruitland and Tim Haman of Cape Girardeau; and two sisters, Georgia (Walt) Kinder Doty of Largo, Florida, and Rozella (Mike) Kinder Perry of Sikeston, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dave Conley officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or a church of your choice.
