CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Two men are charged in connection with the shooting death of a Charleston man.

Demarcus Owens, 23, and Ronatavious Clark, 17, both of Charleston were arrested by officers with the Charleston Department of Public Safety and the Missouri State Highway Patrol in connection with the April 18 killing of Anthony Fisher.

They were taken into custody Thursday evening, according to Charleston police director Robert Hearnes.

Owens is facing charges of first-degree murder, first-degree robbery, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. He is being held without bond.

Clark, who is charged with hindering prosecution, has a bond set at $100,000 cash only.

At 3 p.m. April 18, the Charleston police received a call about shots fired on North Elm Street near Mark Twain Park. At the scene, officers found Fisher with a gunshot wound in a vehicle at the intersection of Elm and Lafayette streets.

Fisher was taken to an area medical facility for treatment. He later died.
