  • Abby Addleman of Cape Girardeau has joined the Swinney Sisters, a women's vocal ensemble at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. The Swinney Sisters will perform in a concert with the Church Street Boys at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Linn Memorial Church on the Central Methodist campus. The ensemble sings music of many different genres and is a part of the Swinney Conservatory of Music. Addleman is also a member of the Chorale and Conservatory Singers.

Scholarships

  • Abbigail Sinn of Cape Girardeau, Charles Hagerty II of Cape Girardeau, Danielle Farrow of Jackson and Ashley Scheffer of Sikeston, Missouri, have been awarded scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2015-2016 academic year.
