EAST CAPE GIRARDEAU, Ill. -- Roberta J. "Bobbie" Matlock, 66, of East Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 1, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, to the late Robert and Dorthy Skaggs Kelley. She married Larry E. Matlock, who preceded her in death.

Bobbie graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She was assistant manager in the business office at Saint Francis the past 33 years. She was a dedicated employee and enjoyed working. Bobbie also enjoyed reading, flower gardening, and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Kelley (Stephen) Gannon; a son, Shane Matlock, all of McClure, Illinois; and three grandchildren, Andrew Chandler of Chicago, Mathew Chandler and Nolan Matlock of McClure.

There is no service.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
