FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Melba Dillender, 80, of Fredericktown died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at Claru DeVille Nursing Home in Fredericktown.

She was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Sikeston, Missouri, daughter of Virgil and Ellen Tidwell Williams. She and Frank Dillender were married June 6, 1953, at Benton, Missouri.

Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Kathy Dillender of Brighton, Illinois; a daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Mike Pizziment of Florissant, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jim Dillender, Shanyn Dillender and husband Robert E. Lee; and a great-grandchild, Abryanna Gail Lee.

In addition to her parents, a brother and three sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kimberly A. Mitchell, pastor of Glenallen United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be Jim Dillender, Robert E. Lee, Jason Goddard, Jeff Goddard, Joel Goddard and Don Floyd.
