The Southeast Missouri State women's basketball team heads on the road to face in-state foe Missouri today.

The Redhawks (1-0) travel to Columbia, Missouri, where they'll play the Tigers (1-0) at 7 p.m.

Southeast coach Ty Margenthaler will make his return to the sidelines following a two-game suspension for recruiting violations by the women's basketball program that were self-reported to the NCAA.

Senior forward and captain Hillary Lively will sit out for the second game as she serves a two-game suspension for a violation of team rules.

Missouri, which posted a 17-14 record last season, defeated Southeast 62-57 a year ago.

Junior guard Olivia Hackmann had nine points against the Tigers last season and is coming off a career-high 19 point performance in Southeast's 66-38 season-opening win against Alabama A&M. She also had eight rebounds and four steals. Junior forward Erin Bollmann added 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Missouri opened with an 89-52 win against Western Illinois on Saturday. Senior guard Morgan Eye led the Tigers with 21 points and was 7 of 9 from behind the arc. Eye, who is the Tigers' top returner with 12.9 ppg last season, didn't score against the Redhawks last year.

Junior guard Juanita Robinson finished with 13 points and freshman forward Bri Porter had 11 points and six rebounds against WIU.

Mizzou shot 56.1 percent in the game, including 14 of 23 (60.9 percent) from behind the 3-point arc.
