Bonnie Rose Cope, 82, of Scott City died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, at her home.

She was born Feb. 11, 1932, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to Arvil D. and Ada Dunwoody Link. She married Walter Johnston Jr. on Sept. 2, 1950. He preceded her in death July 21, 1986.

She later married Daniel Cope on Dec. 24, 2008.

She previously worked at Blair Industries and was a member of Assembly of God Church in Scott City.

She is survived by her husband of Scott City; a son, Matthew (Anna) Johnston of Scott City; three daughters, Dianna Miller of Jackson, Debbera Miller and Donna (John) Braun of Scott City; a stepson, Danny Ray (Patty) Cope of Kelso, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Doris Moss of Scott City; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy; a brother; two sisters; and two great-grandsons.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
